It's 3 years today
3 long years that I have been back in this awful country
It's not awful if you've never experienced anything better
If you've only ever been here or your are from the 4th world
This place is amazing
The people who try to get here for benefits every day prove that
But I am not from the 4th world
This is the 3rd world
No dryers
No garbage disposals
No side by side fridge / freezer
No double garage
Heck no garages
No fun
No life
Everything is to work
Everyday is all about work
No one here would dream of going to a lake for the weekend
No one
It's so disparaging
Just hateful
If you smile you are treated like a criminal
Weirdest feeling ever
Yes there are great parts of this country.
The roads, the greenery the fact that one is alive
But unless you are an alcoholic there is very little point to you being on this island
Oh well
It's 3 years
The remaining days could be faster
I have an immigration attorney
I have Sherry
Both are helping me return home
Or to Mexico
That might be a valid solution
In the interim
I must be happy for those that need me to be
Mom, Dad, Nikki, Oliver, Annie, Fiona and Ben / Millie and more
I not allowed to say what I feel about the rain, the perpetual cold and more
They are offended
They've experienced nothing better ever
