It's Ben's birthday today

He's 15

That's quite amazingly old

I wasn't there when he was born

I was in America

I miss you so much

This weekend I missed you even more

Sitting in the front room with Fiona, Millie and her boyfriend

I was thinking what happens if I don't get to see you and your girl/boyfriends

That's going to be hard work 

But we'll get through that

It's hard being apart

Across so many miles 

And so much time 

But we are surviving and making it through
