It seems such a long time ago that I took you to your first day

This is the 2nd year that I won't have done this 

I miss it 

I miss you

I wish I could be there for you - be there with you 

I wish I was able to walk into the school with you 

I hope that the school know that you gave a dad

That you tell them that I am here and although I can't be with you I am still in your thoughts

I know that while I'm not with you the memories aren't the best but soon I'll be with you again
