Good morning

I hope that you are well

I have just woken up 

Literally 

Yuck

It's 530

So early but that's life 

I'm generally in the office within an hour from now 

It's a good 25 minutes there by car 

By train it's like 45 minutes coz the train stops at every station

Awful idea to go by train :-) 

And more expensive 

The first day with no back up from Eamonn or Julian went ok

I survived 

A little stressful but that's ok

No matter 

The team worked and did their jobs

That's great news 

I watched the movie captain Philips last night 

It's a true story set in 2009 about a ship captain taken hostage by Somalian pirates 

It was a good movie 

What have you been up to?

Hope you've had a good day 

After work I saw grandma and had a scone and jam with cream with her 

That was nice

She then went to church 

I declined that 

1) I would have been back so late 

2) it's not me 

3) sherry expects me to call during the time I'd have been in church 

It's all good

She is good

Her daughter had some surgery yesterday but she's ok so that's good news

What did you do?

Hopefully you've had some fun

Do you remember Eric in San Diego

He did the cars 

He's going to the Philippines in September 

That's awesome for him

He gets to see his mom

Another day closer to getting to visit you

I hope mom hasn't told you that I was a terrible person

Maybe not a great husband but I was a great father
